  Southwestern Franklin County in east central Kansas...
  Northwestern Anderson County in east central Kansas...
  Southeastern Osage County in east central Kansas...
  Northern Coffey County in east central Kansas...

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 1005 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over New Strawn,
  moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Princeton, Waverly, Burlington, John Redmond Reservoir,
  Williamsburg, Harris, New Strawn, Richmond, and Garnett.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 159 and 175.

NORTHWESTERN ANDERSON...SOUTHEASTERN OSAGE AND NORTHEASTERN COFFEY
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1045 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
east central Kansas.
