* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Berkshire County in western Massachusetts...
  Southern Rensselaer County in east central New York...
  Bennington County in southern Vermont...
  Windham County in southern Vermont...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 251 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Manchester Center to near Bennington to Averill
  Park, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Pittsfield, Bennington, North Adams, Brattleboro, Bellows Falls,
  Arlington, Londonderry, Townshend, Manchester, Stratton, Adams,
  Williamstown, Shaftsbury, Pownal, Cheshire, Stephentown, Putney,
  Vernon, Grafton, and Berlin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EDT for western
Massachusetts...east central New York...and southern Vermont.

FOR NORTHEASTERN BERKSHIRE...SOUTHEASTERN RENSSELAER...SOUTHEASTERN
BENNINGTON AND WINDHAM COUNTIES...

At 312 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles north of Townshend to near Readsboro to near
New Ashford, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsfield, North Adams, Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Townshend,
Adams, Williamstown, Cheshire, Stephentown, Putney, Vernon,

SOUTHEASTERN RENSSELAER...SOUTHEASTERN BENNINGTON AND WINDHAM
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 330 PM EDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and have exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will
be allowed to expire.  However, gusty winds and heavy rain are still
possible with these thunderstorms.
