* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Mesa County in west central Colorado...
  Western Garfield County in west central Colorado...
  Southeastern Uintah County in northeastern Utah...
  Northeastern Grand County in east central Utah...

* Until 1015 AM MDT.

* At 944 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 23 miles west of
  Fruita, or 32 miles west of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Mesa, western Garfield, southeastern Uintah and
  northeastern Grand Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

of Fruita, or 30 miles northwest of Grand Junction, moving northeast
at 45 mph.
