The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Fremont County in central Wyoming...

* Until 200 PM MDT.

* At 111 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near South Pass
  City, which is 28 miles south of Lander, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts, quarter size hail, heavy rainfall, and 
           frequent lightning .

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Fremont County, including the following locations...
  Atlantic City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash 
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM MDT
FOR SOUTHERN FREMONT COUNTY...

At 138 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles east of
South Pass City, which is 30 miles south of Lander, moving east at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts, quarter size hail, frequent lightning, 
         and heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southern Fremont County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of natures leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
