...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM PDT
FOR NORTHERN TUOLUMNE AND SOUTHEASTERN ALPINE COUNTIES...
At 500 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dardanelle, or
8 miles southeast of Lake Alpine, nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Quarter size hail.Gusty outflow winds up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.
Locations impacted include...
Dardanelle and portions of Highway 108.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of natures leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHERN TUOLUMNE AND
SOUTHEASTERN ALPINE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 530 PM PDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has partially exited the warned area. Therefore, the
warning will be allowed to expire. However small hail, gusty
outflow winds and brief heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
