The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Powder River County in southeastern Montana...

* Until 830 PM MDT.

* At 752 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  42 miles south of Ashland to near Biddle, or along a line from 42
  miles east of Sheridan to 29 miles south of Broadus, moving north
  at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Biddle and Moorhead.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
