* At 657 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gurley, or 8
miles southeast of Moores Mill, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

At 714 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of
Skyline, or 15 miles east of Moores Mill, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON AND EAST
CENTRAL MADISON COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 745 AM CDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small
hail up to the size of nickels, gusty winds up to 40-50 MPH,
frequent lightning and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until noon CDT for
north central and northeastern Alabama.
