* At 309 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
of Fruita, or 9 miles north of Grand Junction, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

FOR NORTH CENTRAL MESA AND SOUTH CENTRAL GARFIELD COUNTIES...
At 338 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest
of De Beque, or 23 miles northeast of Grand Junction, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported downed power lines in
Fruita.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
