The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  West central Mesa County in west central Colorado...

* Until 1215 PM MDT.

* At 1146 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 22 miles east of
  Castle Valley, moving northeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Gateway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR WEST CENTRAL MESA COUNTY WILL
EXPIRE AT 1215 PM MDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, heavy 
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
