* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Litchfield County in northern Connecticut...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 238 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cornwall
  Bridge, or 9 miles west of Torrington, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Torrington, Thomaston, New Hartford, Litchfield, Falls Village,
  Northwest Harwinton, Terryville, Cornwall Bridge, Winsted, New
  Hartford Center, Plymouth, Harwinton, Barkhamsted, Goshen, Morris,
  Warren, Cornwall, Bantam, South Norfolk, and West Torrington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
