The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Morgan County in central Indiana...
  Hendricks County in central Indiana...
  Western Marion County in central Indiana...
  Eastern Putnam County in west central Indiana...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 902 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Danville, or
  22 miles west of Indianapolis, moving northeast at 65 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Hendricks, Northern Morgan and 
  Western Marion Counties.

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect 
           considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. 
           Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Stilesville, Pittsboro, Amo, Plainfield, Eagle Creek Reservoir,
  Coatesville, Mooresville, Avon, Groveland, Brownsburg, Belle Union,
  Clayton, Lake Hart, Danville, Indianapolis Intl Airport, Monrovia,
  Little Point, Eminence, Speedway, and Camby.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 118 and 128.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 46 and 78.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 59 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central and
west central Indiana.
