* Until 530 PM EDT.
* At 457 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ronceverte,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for damaging winds. For your safety, move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away
from windows.

Mountain Summit, or near Alleghany, moving east at 30 mph.

SOUTH CENTRAL GREENBRIER AND NORTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE
AT 530 PM EDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will
be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with
this thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southwestern and west central Virginia...and southeastern West
Virginia.
