* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Lee County in east central Alabama...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 1059 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bleecker, or
  7 miles northwest of Smiths, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Monterey Heights, Smiths, Beulah, Smiths Station, Bleecker, Griffen
  Mill, Ladonia, and Opelika.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN LEE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning has
been cancelled.  However, small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are
still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until noon CDT for
southeastern and east central Alabama.
