Madison County in southeastern Missouri...
* Until 615 PM CDT.
* At 540 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Saco, or 14
miles southwest of Fredericktown, moving northeast at 70 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Fredericktown, Cobalt, Marquand, Buckhorn and Saco.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for a portion of
southeast Missouri.
