The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Bacon County in southeastern Georgia...
  Southwestern Appling County in southeastern Georgia...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 406 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Alma, moving
  east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Alma and New Lacy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

APPLING COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 430 PM EDT...
