The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Western Converse County in east central Wyoming...
* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 349 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Antelope Hills to 6 miles east of Evansville to
12 miles west of Boxelder, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Glenrock, Rolling Hills, Laprele Reservoir, Deer Creek, and
Boxelder.
This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 146 and
174.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
