The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 515 PM MST.

* At 422 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  20 miles northeast of Portal to 14 miles northeast of Bowie, moving
  southwest at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts, quarter size hail and areas of dense
           blowing dust with visibilities less than one- half mile.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bowie and San Simon.

This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 359 and 391.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
Seek shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the
National Weather Service office in Tucson.

At 454 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located near San Simon,
moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 to 65 mph wind gust, quarter size hail and dense blowing
         dust.

NORTHEASTERN COCHISE COUNTY...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds to 40 mph are still possible with these thunderstorms through
545 pm.
