* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
Eastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 645 PM MST.
* At 542 PM MST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
7 miles east of Parker Canyon Lake to near Kartchner Caverns State
Park, moving west at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Sierra Vista, Hereford, Whetstone, Huachuca City, Patagonia,
Sonoita, Elgin, Fort Huachuca, Parker Canyon Lake, Kartchner
Caverns State Park, Canelo, Ramsey Canyon Preserve, Lochiel and
Coronado National Memorial.
This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 296 and 319. Route 92 between mile
markers 322 and 335. Route 82 between mile markers 20 and 57. Route
83 between mile markers 3 and 42...and between mile markers 50 and
52.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning is one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

miles south of Parker Canyon Lake to 9 miles west of Kartchner
Caverns State Park, moving west at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Whetstone, Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, Fort Huachuca, Parker Canyon
Lake, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Canelo, Lochiel and Coronado
