* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  West central Otero County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northeastern Huerfano County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...
  Southeastern Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 1245 AM MDT.

* At 1201 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 19 miles south of
  Avondale, or 26 miles southeast of Pueblo Airport, moving southeast
  at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  west central Otero, northeastern Huerfano, northwestern Las Animas
  and southeastern Pueblo Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.

FOR WEST CENTRAL OTERO...NORTHEASTERN HUERFANO...NORTHWESTERN LAS
ANIMAS AND SOUTHEASTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES...

At 1217 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 24 miles northwest
of Delhi, or 31 miles south of Pueblo Airport, moving south at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west
central Otero, northeastern Huerfano, northwestern Las Animas and

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR WEST CENTRAL OTERO...
NORTHEASTERN HUERFANO...NORTHWESTERN LAS ANIMAS AND SOUTHEASTERN
PUEBLO COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1245 AM MDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, small
hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for
southeastern Colorado.
