The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Dawes County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...

* Until 300 PM MDT.

* At 226 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
  Chadron Municipal Airport, or 9 miles northwest of Chadron, moving
  southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chadron, Chadron Municipal Airport, Red Cloud Campground, Chadron
  State Park, Dawes County Fairgrounds, and Chadron State Park
  Campground.
