Southwestern Meade County in central Kentucky...
Central Breckinridge County in central Kentucky...
* Until 1245 AM EDT/1145 PM CDT/.
* At 1158 PM EDT/1058 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 9
miles north of Hardinsburg, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Brandenburg, Webster, Irvington, Ekron, Guston, Raymond, Mystic,
Frymire, Holt, and Rome.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
