The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Logan County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 430 PM MDT.

* At 348 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast
  of Westplains, or 25 miles northwest of Sterling, moving southeast
  at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
           to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.  This storm has a
           recent history of golfball size hail.

* Locations impacted include...
  North Sterling Reservoir and Padroni.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
