The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Logan County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 500 PM MDT.

* At 421 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near North
  Sterling Reservoir, or 10 miles northwest of Sterling, moving
  southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sterling and Iliff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MDT FOR
CENTRAL LOGAN COUNTY...

At 430 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
North Sterling Reservoir, or 8 miles northwest of Sterling, moving
southeast at 15 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF PADRONI.

HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported 3 inch diameter hail approximately
         5 miles southwest of Padroni at 423 PM.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect
         shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and
         vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
  Sterling and Iliff.
