* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Logan County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 451 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sterling,
  moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported golfball hail in Sterling at 449
           PM..

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sterling, Atwood, Logan Corners and Reiradon Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced dangerous hail
and is capable of producing damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

At 455 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sterling,
moving southeast at 15 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR 2 MILES WEST OF STERLING.

HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported 3 inch diameter hail 2 miles west
         of Sterling at 454 PM.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect
         shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and
         vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
  Sterling, Atwood, Logan Corners and Reiradon Hill.
