The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Santa Cruz County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 800 PM MST.

* At 705 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest
  of Elgin, moving southwest at 5 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
           roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Patagonia, Sonoita and Elgin.

This includes the following highways...
Route 82 between mile markers 16 and 31. Route 83 between mile
markers 15 and 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

NORTHEASTERN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY...

At 738 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Elgin. This
storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
