AND NORTHEASTERN GUADALUPE COUNTIES...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. 
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, gusty winds are 
still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for 
a portion of east central New Mexico.

FOR CENTRAL CURRY, SOUTHERN QUAY AND EAST CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL 
COUNTIES...

At 831 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 6 
miles west of Ute Lake State Park to 9 miles east of House, moving 
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Tucumcari, Quay, Logan, San Jon, Grady, House, Ragland, Wheatland, 
  Ute Lake State Park and Forrest.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 327 and 362.
State Road 104 between Mile Markers 93 and 105.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and 
ponding of water on roadways as storms move through the area.

been reissued for Quay and Curry Counties and is in effect until 930

with these thunderstorms.
