* Until 815 PM MST.
* At 737 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sierra Vista,
moving west at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Sierra Vista, Whetstone, Huachuca City, Fort Huachuca, Parker
Canyon Lake, Ramsey Canyon Preserve and Charleston.
This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 308 and 327. Route 92 between mile
markers 322 and 329. Route 82 between mile markers 46 and 53. Route
83 between mile markers 3 and 6.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
