The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Scotts Bluff County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...
  Southwestern Sioux County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...
  Northeastern Goshen County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 449 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles northeast
  of Torrington Municipal Airport, or 15 miles northeast of
  Torrington, moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Emergency management. At 436 PM golf ball sized hail was 
           reported south southeast of Prairie Center.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mitchell, Morrill, Scotts Bluff County Fairground, and Lake Alice.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and
tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an interior room, a
bathroom, closet or basement.

If on or near Lake Alice or Minatare, get away from the water and 
move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out 
to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, 
you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter 
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM MDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN SCOTTS BLUFF...SOUTHWESTERN SIOUX AND EASTERN GOSHEN
COUNTIES...

At 512 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast of
Morrill, or 16 miles east of Torrington, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Emergency management. At 501 PM quarter sized hail was 
         reported to be covering the ground sixteen north of Henry.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Mitchell, Morrill, Scotts Bluff County Fairground, and Lake Alice.
