The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 354 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Milnesand, 
  or 37 miles south of Portales, moving northeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  State Road 206, Dora, Causey, Milnesand, Pep and Lingo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large 
hail.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR SOUTHEASTERN 
ROOSEVELT COUNTY...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe 
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. 
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, small hail, 
gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with this 
thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT Friday for a 
portion of east central New Mexico.
