Northeastern Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 830 PM MDT.
* At 739 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
7 miles northwest of Kenna to 5 miles southwest of Milnesand,
moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Elida, Kenna, Pep and Milnesand.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and

At 812 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 11
miles north of Kenna to near Pep, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 830 PM MDT FOR SOUTHERN
ROOSEVELT AND NORTHEASTERN CHAVES COUNTIES...
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small
hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with these
thunderstorms.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT
Wednesday for a portion of east central New Mexico.
