The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 1015 PM MST.

* At 935 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
  Bisbee, moving northwest at 15 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR NORTHWEST OF BISBEE TOWARDS THE
  TOMBSTONE AREA.

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
           considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
           Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bisbee.

This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 332 and 336. Route 80 between mile
markers 322 and 342.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing widespread
destructive winds and large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 1002 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast
of Tombstone, moving northwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Southwestern Cochise County.

This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 332 and 336. Route 80 between mile

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
