The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Chase County in southwestern Nebraska...
  Southwestern Hayes County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 930 PM CDT/830 PM MDT/.

* At 842 PM CDT/742 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 7
  miles northeast of Enders, or 10 miles east of Imperial, moving
  southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wauneta, Enders, Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area, Hamlet,
  Area A Campground, and Center Dam Campground.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 28 and 30.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

At 901 PM CDT/801 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near
Wauneta, or 16 miles southwest of Hayes Center, moving southeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
