The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until midnight MST.

* At 1054 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Three
  Points, moving west at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Three Points, Tucson Estates, Tucson Mountain Park, Kitt Peak,
  Saguaro National Park West, Picture Rocks, San Pedro, Pan Tak and
  Ryan AirField.

This includes the following highways...
Route 86 between mile markers 134 and 161. Route 286 between mile
markers 31 and 45.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Wind damage with this storm will occur before any rain or lightning.
Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. Seek
shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.

At 1124 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Three Points,
moving west at 15 mph.
