* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Freeborn County in south central Minnesota...
  Steele County in south central Minnesota...
  Southeastern Waseca County in south central Minnesota...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 1035 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles 
  southwest of Owatonna, moving southeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Owatonna, Blooming Prairie, Medford, Ellendale, Geneva, 
  Hollandale, Lemond, Clinton Falls, Merton, Moland, Hope, Steele 
  Center, Owatonna Airport, Bixby and Rice Lake State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large 
hail.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek 
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a 
well-built structure.

FOR NORTHEASTERN FREEBORN, STEELE AND SOUTHEASTERN WASECA COUNTIES...

At 1040 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of 
Owatonna, moving southeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Owatonna, Blooming Prairie, Medford, Ellendale, Geneva, 
  Hollandale, Lemond, Clinton Falls, Merton, Moland, Hope, Steele 
  Center, Owatonna Airport, Bixby and Rice Lake State Park.

FREEBORN, STEELE AND SOUTHEASTERN WASECA COUNTIES...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. 
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire. However, gusty 
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for a 
portion of south central Minnesota.
