* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northeastern Dewey County in north central South Dakota...
* Until 715 PM MDT.
* At 611 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ridgeview, or
21 miles southeast of Timber Lake, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and

FOR NORTHEASTERN DEWEY COUNTY...
At 635 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Promise, or 18
miles southwest of Mobridge, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Public. At 730 PM MDT, near golf ball sized hail was
reported near Promise.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

White Horse, Promise, Laplant, Glencross, Ridgeview, and northeastern
