The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado...
  Northern Cheyenne County in northwestern Kansas...
  Southern Dundy County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 345 PM MDT/445 PM CDT/.

* At 303 PM MDT/403 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
  a line extending from 22 miles southwest of Champion to 6 miles
  west of Haigler to 9 miles southwest of Wray, moving southeast at
  45 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Wray airport gusted 68 MPH.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Haigler around 310 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Benkelman and St. Francis.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 214 and 244.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM
MDT/445 PM CDT/ FOR SOUTHEASTERN YUMA COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN
COLORADO...NORTHERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN KANSAS AND
SOUTHERN DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...

At 329 PM MDT/429 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 9 miles west of Benkelman to 4 miles north of St.
Francis to 12 miles northeast of Bonny Reservoir, moving southeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near...
  St. Francis around 435 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Beecher Island, Wheeler, Parks, Max, and Vernon.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 214 and 237.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

These thunderstorms will produce strong winds resulting in areas of
near zero visibility in blowing dirt. Use extreme caution if you must
travel and be alert for rapidly changing visibility.

This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make
driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be
aware of rapidly changing road conditions.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

EXPIRE AT 345 PM MDT/445 PM CDT/...

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning that was previously in effect has 
been reissued for Yuma and Cheyenne counties. Please refer to that 
bulletin for the latest severe weather information.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT/900 PM
CDT/ for northeastern Colorado...northwestern Kansas...and
southwestern Nebraska.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Goodland.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Yuma and Cheyenne counties
