* At 850 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lakes of the
Four Seasons, or near Merrillville, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Merrillville, Valparaiso, Crown Point, Hebron, Lakes of the Four

FOR SOUTHERN PORTER AND CENTRAL LAKE COUNTIES...
At 909 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Valparaiso to near Crown Point, moving southeast
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHERN PORTER AND CENTRAL
LAKE COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, gusty winds
up to 40 mph are still possible with these thunderstorms.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northwestern Indiana.
