  Emmet County in northwestern Iowa...
  Kossuth County in north central Iowa...
  Palo Alto County in northwestern Iowa...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1027 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Lake Park to 4 miles west of Fostoria to near
  Linn Grove, moving east at 50 mph.

  THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR Emmet, Palo Alto, and Kossuth 
  Counties.

  HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Automated and personal weather stations. Wind gusts of 60 
           to 90 mph have been observed over portions of northwest 
           Iowa.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect 
           considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. 
           Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

  Estherville, Algona, Emmetsburg, Swan Lake, Five Island Lake,

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread 
wind damage across northwestern Iowa. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a 
sturdy structure and stay away from windows! 

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and 
widespread significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not 
immediately likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the 
lowest floor of a building. These storms may cause serious injury 
and significant property damage.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT
FOR EMMET...KOSSUTH AND PALO ALTO COUNTIES...

At 1046 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Orleans to 4 miles south of Terril to near Webb,
moving east at 50 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR Emmet, Palo Alto, and Kossuth 
Counties.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Automated and personal weather stations. Spencer Airport 
         reported an 87 mph wind gust at 1039pm. Additionally, wind 
         gusts of 60 to 90 mph have been observed over portions of 
         northwest Iowa as well.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect 
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.

At 1108 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Estherville Municipal Airport to 5 miles
southeast of High Lake to near West Bend, moving east at 50 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR Emmet, Palo Alto, and Kossuth 
Counties.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Automated and personal weather stations. Spencer Airport 
         reported a 92 mph wind gust at 1042pm. Additionally, wind 
         gusts of 60 to 90 mph have been observed over portions of 
         northwest Iowa as well.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without

moving east at 50 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR parts of southern Emmet, northern 
Palo Alto, and central Kossuth Counties including Algona.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Automated and personal weather stations. Emergency 
         management reported a 75 mph wind gust around 1130 PM near 
         Algona. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect 
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
