  Northwestern Davie County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...
  Northern Iredell County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 441 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles southwest
  of Yadkinville, or 5 miles northwest of Harmony, and is nearly
  stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Harmony, Love Valley, Sheffield, Union Grove, Turnersburg, and
  Olin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

FOR NORTHWESTERN DAVIE AND NORTHERN IREDELL COUNTIES...

At 458 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles north of
Statesville, or 4 miles east of Love Valley, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN DAVIE AND
NORTHERN IREDELL COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, gusty winds and
heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
