* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Dunn County in southwestern North Dakota...
  Northwestern McLean County in south central North Dakota...
  East central McKenzie County in northwestern North Dakota...
  South central Mountrail County in northwestern North Dakota...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 451 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of 4
  Bears Lodge, or 31 miles east of Watford City, moving southeast at
  30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mckenzie Bay Recreation Area, Mandaree, Deep Water Creek Recreation
  Area, Skunk Creek Bay Recreation Area, Pouch Point Recreation Area,
  and Fort Berthold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near central Lake Sakakawea, get away from the water and 
move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out 
to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, 
you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter 
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

At 507 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles east of
Mandaree, or 37 miles east of Watford City, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Mckenzie Bay Recreation Area, Deep Water Creek Recreation Area, Skunk
Creek Bay Recreation Area, Pouch Point Recreation Area, and Fort
Berthold.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
