  Northwestern Carter County in southeastern Montana...
  Southeastern Custer County in southeastern Montana...
  Northeastern Powder River County in southeastern Montana...

* Until 700 PM MDT.

* At 554 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 21 miles east of 
  Volborg, or 34 miles north of Broadus, moving southeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Public reported. At 548 PM, golf ball size hail was
           reported 18 miles SSW of Mizpah. This storm has a
           history of producing hail greater than two inches in
           diameter.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Powderville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure 
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced dangerous hail 
and is capable of producing damaging winds.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead 
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.

NORTHWESTERN CARTER, SOUTHEASTERN CUSTER AND NORTHEASTERN POWDER 
RIVER COUNTIES...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. 
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small 
hail and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for Carter 
county through 745 PM MDT.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for a 
portion of southeast Montana.
