* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Carter County in southeastern Montana...

* Until 945 PM MDT.

* At 837 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles 
  northeast of Alzada, or 56 miles south of Ekalaka, moving 
  southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Alzada and Albion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure 
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing 
dangerous hail and damaging winds.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead 
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM MDT 
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CARTER COUNTY...

At 859 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles east of 
Alzada, or 62 miles south of Ekalaka, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Automated wind sensor. At 845 PM MDT, a gust of 74 mph
         was reported by a Mesonet station near Alzada.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
  Alzada and Albion.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR SOUTHEASTERN CARTER 
COUNTY...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. 
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, small hail and 
heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for 
a portion of southeast Montana.
