  Southeastern Smith County in north central Kansas...
  Northeastern Osborne County in north central Kansas...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 314 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located a few miles south-
  southeast of Portis, or 29 miles west of Beloit, moving northeast 
  at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Portis around 320 PM CDT.

building.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN SMITH AND NORTH CENTRAL OSBORNE COUNTIES...

At 337 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Portis, or 30
miles west of Beloit, moving north at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Smith and north central Osborne Counties.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN SMITH AND NORTH
CENTRAL OSBORNE COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 345 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, small 
hail and gusty winds are still possible with this 
weakening thunderstorm.
