Northwestern Rooks County in north central Kansas...
* Until 400 PM CDT.
* At 319 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nicodemus, or
14 miles east of Hill City, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Rooks County, stradding the Rooks-Graham County line.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

FOR NORTHWESTERN ROOKS COUNTY...
At 340 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Nicodemus, or
15 miles northeast of Hill City, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Rooks County, focusing along the Rooks-Graham County
line.

EXPIRE AT 400 PM CDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

winds up to around 40 MPH are still possible with this thunderstorm.
