West Central Guadalupe County in east central New Mexico...
* Until 700 PM MDT.
* At 608 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
Encino, or 19 miles northwest of Vaughn, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Vaughn and Encino.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 285 between Mile Markers 203 and 233. Highway 60 between Mile
Markers 248 and 273.

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Heavy rains from severe thunderstorms can produce sudden and
