Southwestern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 515 PM MDT.
* At 426 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hudson, or
21 miles south of Greeley, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Fort Lupton, Hudson, Keenesburg and Milton Reservoir.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
