The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Corson County in north central South Dakota...
  Southwestern Campbell County in north central South Dakota...
  Northeastern Dewey County in north central South Dakota...
  Western Walworth County in north central South Dakota...

* Until 100 PM CDT/noon MDT/.

* At 1222 PM CDT/1122 AM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
  Blackfoot, or 14 miles south of Mobridge, moving north at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  New Everets Resort around 1225 PM CDT.
  Blackfoot around 1125 AM MDT.
  Indian Creek Rec Area and Revheim Bay Rec Area around 1230 PM CDT.
  Mobridge around 1235 PM CDT.
  Indian Memorial Rec Area around 1140 AM MDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Grand
River Casino.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Aberdeen.

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. This storm may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.

If on or near the Missouri River, get away from the water and move 
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you 
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
