The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Cheyenne County in northwestern Kansas...
  Dundy County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 1100 PM MDT/midnight CDT/.

* At 1022 PM MDT/1122 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located
  along a line extending from 7 miles south of Champion to 9 miles
  west of Benkelman to 6 miles southwest of Haigler, moving southeast
  at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  St. Francis around 1135 PM CDT.
  Benkelman around 1040 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include
Bird City.

DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...

At 1043 PM MDT/1143 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 7 miles north of Benkelman to 6 miles north of
Bird City to 5 miles southwest of St. Francis, moving southeast at 50
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

  Bird City around 1150 PM CDT.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CHEYENNE COUNTY IN
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS AND DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA WILL
EXPIRE AT 1100 PM MDT/MIDNIGHT CDT/...

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning that was previously in effect has 
been reissued for Dundy and Cheyenne, KS and is in effect until 1215 
AM MDT or 115 AM CDT. Please refer to that bulletin for the latest 
severe weather information.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM MDT/400 AM
CDT/ for northwestern Kansas...and southwestern Nebraska.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Goodland.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
Dundy and Cheyenne, KS and is in effect until 1215 AM MDT or 115 AM 
CDT.
