  Western Lowndes County in south central Georgia...
  Brooks County in south central Georgia...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 626 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Hahira to near I-75 At Exit 16, moving west at
  10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Quitman, Valdosta, Hahira, I-75 At Exit 16, Remerton, Morven,
  Barney, Valdosta Regional Airport, Kinderlou, Nankin, I-75 At Exit
  29, Empress, Clyattville, Brooks Co A/p, Blue Springs, I-75 At Exit
  11, and I-75 At Exit 22.

FOR SOUTHWESTERN LOWNDES AND SOUTHEASTERN BROOKS COUNTIES...

At 715 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of I-75 At Exit 16 to 8 miles west
of Lake Park, moving southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Valdosta, I-75 At Exit 16, Blue Springs, Nankin, Clyattville, and

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN LOWNDES AND
SOUTHEASTERN BROOKS COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 730 PM EDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
