  Southern Powhatan County in central Virginia...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 629 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Powhatan to near Chula to 7 miles northwest of
  Jetersville, moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

  Amelia Courthouse, Scotts Fork, Chula, and Jetersville around 635 
  PM EDT.
  Moseley around 640 PM EDT.
  Mannboro around 645 PM EDT.
  Spainville around 655 PM EDT.
  Wilsons around 700 PM EDT.
  Chesterfield Court House around 705 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include North
Wellville, Addison, Earls, Pilkinton, Ammon, Darvills, Winterham,
Pocahontas State Park, Skinquarter, and Wellville.

NOTTOWAY...DINWIDDIE...AMELIA AND SOUTHERN POWHATAN COUNTIES...THE
CITY OF COLONIAL HEIGHTS AND THE WESTERN CITY OF PETERSBURG WILL
EXPIRE AT 715 PM EDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
